Lead Time Because our only business is to make and sell these very unique gloves which have seasonal demand on a first come first served basis, lead time for Racing Gloves can vary widely. From August to March we can usually ship in 2-weeks or less but please plan ahead for April through July because 4-week lead times are not uncommon. Day gloves are
always available for immediate delivery from stock.
Shipping Transit Time We have absolutely no control over how long a package takes to be delivered after we give it to the Post Office or any other carrier. Domestic UPS and US Mail shipments usually only take a few days east of the Mississippi but five weekdays to the west coast is not unusual. The same holds true for shipping overseas. The least expensive air mail shipping is pretty reliable about 95% of the time and takes anywhere from five to ten weekdays but there have been times when it has taken a month, almost always because of delays in customs. Tracking Numbers Whenever we ship your gloves by UPS check your packing list or shipping confirmation email for the tracking number and a link to UPS. Copy the tracking number to your clipboard, click on the link to UPS and paste it into the tracking number field to find out exactly when your gloves will be delivered. There are no tracking numbers associated with the mail service we use to deliver domestic day gloves and export day gloves and racing gloves so there is absolutely no way of knowing exactly when your gloves will be delivered. Insurance Coverage Except for the default $100 value on UPS packages, we do not insure any of our outgoing packages unless you request it be added. The additional charge varies from $2 to $10 over the basic cost of shipping. In almost 16 years of shipping gloves all over the world we have never lost a single package so we think that paying for insurance is a waste of money. It's your choice though, so ask for it if you want it.
